A sumptuous Oxford, in the purest shoemaking tradition. The Stefano strikes a perfect balance between the restraint of the cap toe and the richness of classic ornamentation: a pattern of traditional stitching and perforations adorns the front and sides, a cap toe gives the toe a chic structure, and the 5-eyelet lacing completes a perfectly drawn silhouette. Rendered in a deep midnight blue, almost ink-like, hand-patinated, it is the Oxford for the connoisseur — for the one who prefers the discreet distinction of midnight blue to the obviousness of black. A color that pairs just as well with an anthracite suit as with light gray or navy trousers.

A shoe entirely hand-stitched. No glue, no shortcuts. The sole is stitched to the upper stitch by stitch by the artisan, using the Blake method — the most noble construction technique in shoemaking. This process takes time and skilled labor, but it changes everything: the shoe is soft from day one, it breathes better because no layer of glue suffocates the leather, and above all — its sole can be replaced by the cobbler when the time comes. A pair of Blake-stitched shoes is not thrown away; it is cared for and passed on.

Nothing but leather, and the best of it. We do not compromise on materials. The upper, the lining and the insole are made from full-grain calf leather — the noblest part of the hide, the one that retains its natural grain and develops a beautiful patina over the years. The sole is genuine leather, stamped Mario Bertulli. The decorative perforations and stitching — on the front, the sides, around the cap toe — are crafted with the precision this traditional detail demands, and the midnight blue patina is applied by hand, shade after shade, by a patina artisan: this is what gives this blue its inky depth and those subtle reflections that shift with the light — a blue that does not exist on industrially dyed leather.
