A sumptuous Oxford, in the purest shoemaking tradition. The Leonardo is recognizable at first glance by its refined ornamentation: a pattern of traditional stitching and perforations runs along the front and sides, a rounded, wingtip toe marks the model’s elegance, and the 5-eyelet lacing completes a perfectly balanced silhouette. Offered in a warm brown, hand-patinated to reveal deep, lively highlights, it is the Oxford that pairs with a dark suit for special occasions as well as more everyday moments — ceremonies, weddings, business dinners.

A shoe entirely hand-stitched. No glue, no shortcuts. The sole is stitched to the upper stitch by stitch by the craftsman, using the Blake method — the noblest assembly technique in shoemaking. This process takes time and skilled labor, but it changes everything: the shoe is supple from day one, it breathes better because no layer of glue suffocates the leather, and above all — its sole can be replaced by the cobbler when the time comes. A Cousu Blake pair is not thrown away; it is cared for and passed down.

Nothing but leather, and the finest at that. We do not compromise on materials. The upper, the lining and the insole are made from full-grain calf leather — the most noble part of the hide, the one that retains its natural grain and develops a beautiful patina over the years. The sole is genuine leather, stamped Mario Bertulli. The traditional perforations — wingtip toe and decorative stitching — are crafted with the precision required by this detail inherited from old-world shoemaking, and the brown patina is worked by hand, shade after shade, by a patina artisan: it is what gives the leather its depth of color and subtle highlights. No two pairs are exactly alike.
